Joseph’s Table Community Meal
Oct 21 @ 11:45 am – 12:30 pm
Joseph's Table Community Meal @ Joseph Project Center

We are a community based (local churches, businesses, and organizations) ministry, reaching out to the hungry in our community, by meeting some of their basic needs and restoring their dignity by showing them love and respect. We hope to not only be a handout but to also be a hand up, to be a stepping stone for people to get back on their feet and to be restored through Christ’s love.

We need volunteers who desire to love people and be apart of their story. This may include: talking with them, praying with them, preparing food, serving food, setting up or cleaning up before and after meals, and more. Volunteers are especially needed Thursday and Friday, 10:30 AM to 1:00 PM. We are also in need of someone willing to be trained to host on the 1st Saturday, 1:30 PM – 3:00 PM. Hosting includes being there to set up for the vendor bringing food in, making coffee, and being sure that clean up is complete. If you are interested in volunteering, click here to register to serve.

Prayer at VCC
Oct 22 @ 12:00 pm – 1:00 pm
Prayer at VCC @ Vineyard Christian Church | Brooksville | Florida | United States

Looking to get involved in the body through prayer? We welcome you to our Tuesday Noon Prayer Meeting.

This is a time for setting aside the things that draw us and our attention away from fellowship with other believers and God. We gather for the common goal of ushering in God’s will to our church body, the community, this nation, and beyond.

We begin each meeting through worship in song, then one of our pastors or staff will open up the meeting in prayer. Feel free to express your prayers out loud or pray silently in agreement with others.

Women’s Bible Study – Spiritual Warfare
Oct 23 @ 10:00 am – 12:00 pm
Women's Bible Study - Spiritual Warfare @ Children's Church Area at Vineyard Christian Church

The Ladies Fall Bible Study on Spiritual Warfare will be Wednesdays at 10am until to 12pm in the Children’s Church Area.  Come to gain understanding and be empowered to fight, engage, and pray. Cathy Currier is teaching and Sherry Sutter is assisting. This will be an exciting time as we allow the Holy Spirit to teach on the premise of how to discern the spirit of good and evil, and to know the 3 heavens and their functions. The study will bring us to a place of how and when to war, as well as prepare ourselves as vessels of God. So much more, but come and receive! We are supplying all booklets. Just bring your pens and awesome selves.

Christmas Parade Float Build
Oct 23 @ 4:30 pm – 6:30 pm
Christmas Parade Float Build @ Vineyard Christian Church

Join me and my team as we construct our float for Brooksville’s Annual Christmas Parade!

This year’s parade float theme is: Christmas at the movies

Our Parade Float is Titled: A Christmas Story

Our build days are as follows:

Sunday afternoons at 1:00 PM to 7:00 PM

Wednesday afternoons from 4:30 PM to 6:30 PM

So, it sounds like a frivolous excuse to get together and just do something; it really is so much more. This is just one of the major outreaches we do here at Vineyard. By participating in events like the Christmas parade we get to use our moving platform to invite people to get to know who we are, what we do, and why we are here. Ok, and it’s a lot of fun. Will you join me? SIGN UP HERE

Not a builder? No worries – I have a few opportunities for you! You could:

Hand out water the day of the parade, or

Walk in the parade, or

Distribute Christmas Eve invitations to the people parked in our parking lot on the day of the parade.

Can’t do any of the above? Bummer – maybe you could drop off a case of water at the church between now and Dec 14?! We have some water to hand out already but every additional case we get means we can bless 24 more people that day!!

You made it this far you might as well sign up for any of the jobs listed or let me know you’re bringing water!

Kingdom U Fall Courses @ Vineyard Christian Church

Register for our upcoming Kingdom U courses below:

ROOTS with Hal Hester

Every believer wants to grow in their relationship with God but many are unsure of how to do that. This course focuses on the spiritual practices that help you to put down deep roots in Christ. These practices have been the means by which the church in every generation, at every level of maturity have used to go deeper in their walk with Christ. Through this course you will not only learn about these practices, but also how to work through barriers to growth, and how to deal with dry desert times. It will also equip you with tools for discipling others in Christ.

Study of the Psalms with Linda Dix

The Book of Psalms is perhaps the most frequently used book in the Old Testament. Psalms may be read in corporate worship, prayed during private devotion, or even sung. In the Psalms we encounter God, others, and ourselves in life’s joys and sorrows, tragedies and triumphs. They capture our imagination, engage our thoughts, stir our emotions, and move our wills. The Psalms also present interpretive challenges. Their imagery is from a world quite different from our own. In this course we will look at where the Psalms originate, the categories of Psalms, and how can we use them effectively in our own lives.
