This church exists to make disciples of Jesus Christ by extending the invitation to the kingdom of God and to experience God’s forgiveness and mercy through Jesus Christ and the power of the Holy Spirit. As well as pursuing continual spiritual maturity through study and the equipping of the saints.

Leadership Education and Development | L.E.A.D.
"The vision behind the L.E.A.D. program is to strengthen and unify our team, to clarify our culture, and to equip leaders better."
L.E.A.D. COURSE INFORMATION
This training exists to orient new leaders to the Vineyard procedures, philosophy of ministry, and expectations of servant leadership. We are excited that you want to be a leader at the Vineyard. This course does not make you a leader but it will teach you about what it means to be a leader at the Vineyard and how to complete processes for promotions and events.
Please come prepared to learn and ask questions. This is one step in our process. Your next step is Leadership Education and Development (L.E.A.D.) Level 1.
Learn how to build better and healthier relationships through developing empathy, warmth, respect and by actively listening to others. In this interactive course you will learn the biblical basis for developing a healthy identity and accurate self-esteem, see how to overcome barriers and problems that make true communication in relationships difficult, and discover many techniques that can help your relationships become more satisfying and healthier. Find out how to be truly helpful to others without becoming anxious, overwhelmed, and over-committed.
The 5 Step Prayer Model gives you basic direction on how to pray for others comfortably. Learn to speak into each situation, the do's and don'ts of praying for one another, and immediately put into practice what you learn by praying with your class members.
Life Groups are a vital part of Life at the Vineyard. A Life Group is a small group of people gathering together for one, simple purpose: to bring people together. We believe God created us to live in relationship with others and only then can we live the full life He intends for us. Sharing life through community is part of our design, but meaningful relationships aren’t always easy to find. That’s why Life Groups exist—to make these life-changing relationships relevant and accessible to you.
This 2 part training will equip you to lead a lifeGroup or small group of people.
This leadership training is a six month commitment to read, reflect, and prepare yourself for servant leadership at the Vineyard. There are five books you will need to purchase and read before each of the first five meetings.

Reflections: Neither a Doormat, Nor Boastful Be. 2 Corinthians 11.16-12.10 31 May 2020 One of the hardest things about being a Christian is the role of humility in our lives. Jesus was the Word made flesh, the Holy Spirit speaks through the biblical text, and the Apostle Paul said that he did not come with mere words but a demonstration of power. Empowered Word isn’t about clever presentations, or home improvement, it is teaching the word of God in the power of the Spirit to transform lives. Dr. Hester and the others teachers at Empowering Word are focused on teaching the Bible chapter by chapter because they believe it is more powerful than the words of men to empower disciples of Jesus Christ to live lives that honor God and liberate people, and teach the Bible.
